ATO requires contractor reporting by 28 August, every year

Paid subbies this year?
The ATO needs to know.

If your business uses subcontractors, you're legally required to report what you paid them to the ATO every year. SubbieLodge makes that 10 minutes of work, not a day of chasing.

11,000+ businesses were fined an average of $1,110 each for getting this wrong.

Cheaper than one BAS agent bill. Cancel anytime. GST included.

What is a TPAR, and do I need to lodge one?

A Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR) is a report you send to the ATO every year listing every subcontractor you paid: their ABN, name, address, and how much you paid them.

The ATO uses this to cross-check that your subbies are declaring their income correctly. It's not optional and it's not new. Businesses in building, cleaning, IT, courier, and security have been required to lodge it for years.

The problem is collecting accurate data from subbies before the 28 August deadline. That's exactly what SubbieLodge solves.

From "need to sort my subbies" to lodged in three steps

No spreadsheets. No chasing phone calls. No $300 BAS agent bill.

1

Create your collection campaign

Takes 2 minutes. Name it "2026 TPAR", get a shareable link. That's it.

2

Send the link so subbies fill in their own details

They enter their ABN, name, address, and what you paid them. ABN is checked against the ATO register on the spot. No back-and-forth.

3

Download and lodge before August 28

One click exports a CSV in the exact format the ATO expects. Lodge it yourself via ATO Online Services, or hand it straight to your BAS agent.

Built for one job. Does it well.

Not a full accounting suite. Not a $35/month subscription. Just TPAR, done properly.

ABN validation on the spot

Every ABN is checked against the ATO register the moment a subbie submits. Bad ABNs get flagged before they become your problem.

Subbies do the data entry, not you

Send them a link. They fill in their own name, ABN, address, and payment amount. You review and export.

ATO-format CSV, one click

The export matches the exact file format the ATO requires. Lodge it yourself or hand it to your bookkeeper.

Know when subbies have submitted

Get an email the moment a subbie fills in their details. No need to chase or check manually.

The ATO doesn't send reminders.

It sends fines.

The ATO cross-references your report against contractor tax returns. Discrepancies trigger audits. Missing reports trigger automatic penalties.
